Skin Cancer Check and Minor Surgeries
Australia has the highest incident of skin cancer in the world. Evidence suggests that regular skin self-check and examination by doctors could result in early detection and minimising mortality from skin cancers. Our services include:
- full body skin check,
- photography and recording of suspicious lesions for further comparison,
- examination of moles that are your concern, and
- surgical excision of suspected lesions.
Cosmetic injections
Cosmetic injections (botulinum toxin and dermal fillers) are also provided by our GP. This service is not bulk-billed. Please contact us and make an appointment with doctors for further information and costs.
Botlinum toxin ( known as Botox) is used to relax the facial muscles which in turn softens the wrinkles caused by muscle movements icluding frown line, forehead lines and crows feet.
Dermal fillers are a jelly substance called hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a natural part of natural skin which gives your skin volume and keeps it hydrated. As we age the amount of HA decreases and skin becomes dryer and lose the normal elasticity and volume. Injection of dermal fillers can restore the volume loss or reshape the area of treatment.
Common treatments with dermal fillers are:
- Lips enhancement
- cheeks volumisation/restoration
- softening jowls
- chin enlargement
- perioral lines
