Billing & Cancellation Policy
At Yamanto Family Clinic, we are a Mixed Billing Practice. This means some patients may incur an out-of-pocket fee—the difference between our private fee and the Medicare rebate.
Who We Bulk Bill?
We offer bulk billing (no out-of-pocket cost) for:
Patients with a valid Medicare card who are:
Aged Pensioners
Disability Pensioners
Children under 16
Health Care Card holders
DVA Gold and White Card holders (with eligible conditions listed on the card)
To be bulk billed, you must have a valid Medicare and Concession card.
Private Patients
If you’re not eligible for bulk billing:
Full payment is required on the day.
We’ll process your Medicare claim directly for quick rebates.
Eligible patients can receive an instant rebate.
We accept Eftpos, Credit Card, or Cash.
Private Billing Services (Not Covered by Medicare)
Some services are always privately billed:
Pre-employment medicals
Insurance and solicitor reports
Commercial driver’s licence medicals
Your doctor or reception will inform you of any applicable fees.
Patients Without Medicare
If your Medicare has expired or you are not eligible for Medicare, you will be privately billed for all services.

Weekdays:
Standard Consultation: $85 Medicare rebate: $43.9
Long Consultation: $126
Medicare rebate: 84.9
Sundays:
Standard Consultation: $99
Medicare Rebate: $57.15Long Consultation: $140
Medicare rebate: 98
Doctors will always discuss any fees with you before providing treatment.
Cancellation Policy
Missed appointments prevent other patients from receiving care.
Failure to cancel at least 4 hours prior to your appointment more than twice will result in a $50 no-show fee.
This helps us keep appointments available for those needing urgent care.
