Billing & Cancellation Policy
We are pleased to advise that effective 1st January 2026, Yamanto Family Practice will bulk bill all Medicare and Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) card holders.
This means that all consultations for eligible Medicare and DVA patients will be bulk billed, with no out-of-pocket costs.
Private Patients
If you’re not eligible for bulk billing:
Full payment is required on the day.
We’ll process your Medicare claim directly for quick rebates.
Eligible patients can receive an instant rebate.
We accept Eftpos, Credit Card, or Cash.
Private Billing Services (Not Covered by Medicare)
Some services are always privately billed:
- Minor procedures
- Skin cancer removal
- Iron infusions
- Q-Fever vaccinations
- Pre-employment Medicals
- Insurance and Solicitor Reports
- Commercial Driver’s License Medicals
- Uber Medicals
Your doctor or reception will inform you of any applicable fees.
Patients Without Medicare
If your Medicare has expired or you are not eligible for Medicare, you will be privately billed for all services.
Cancellation Policy
Missed appointments prevent other patients from receiving care.

Failure to cancel at least 4 hours prior to your appointment will result in a $50 no-show fee.
